The title coined from language of his homeland - Manx Gaelic (Yn Ghaelg) is used as a primary foundation mark, cementing a sentimental attachment through identity & heritage paired with the term of his craft & artistry.

Seeded Business Cards & Reconstructed Paper

Based loosely on the Japanese practice of Kintsugi (金継ぎ) - the premise is to combine multiple used, unwanted & broken resources to form a core elevated outcome from its original iteration. Mainly comprised of discarded drawings, unwanted notes & excess packaging from received parcels, these are all infused with fallen petals, leaves & wildflower seeds to be made beautiful &  plantable. When the business cards are no longer of use,  they can be placed directly into the soil and back to the earth.

Purchasing a Petiole Forage Vessel, the intention brings a full-circle sentiment as a responsible resource — for flourishing seasons offers you to pick your own planted flowers for your personal ceramic wares.

The completely natural soap is primarily focused towards providing a nourishing haircare alongside hand & body wash.

Ingredients:

Primary: Kaolin Clay, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil. Shea Butter, Rice Water, Lye

Secondary: Rosemary Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Peppermint Oil, Peppercorn Seed

‘Still Life’

Captivated by ceramic forms providing key subject matter through imagery, the inclusion of ceramic material & soil are also used as a primary resource to stain paper & canvas - conveying a relationship between the physical artwork and the ‘state of being’ that is translated from. With the figurative composition, some works convey a closely intimate focal point where the figuration may be lost and full abstraction / linework take precedence.

The philosophy for the space has been pieced together to foster an environment encouraging calmness and solitude that will be channeled & expressed in the works.

The studio has been a drawn outcome of productive utilitarian principles complimented with soft pensive lighting, grounding ambiance and personal decorative adornments to be enjoyed during workshops - opposing to typically  bright and harsh studio environments.
